TTWHA’s Home Rental Program
Lease Your Home or Room to a Trusted Local Employee
The TTWHA Home Rental Program provides financial incentives and tenant vetting and placement to homeowners interested in renting their homes to trusted local employees. We recently expanded our program to serve a greater workforce, and look forward to sharing our offering with you.
Our program increases local housing stock and provides housing to our local workforce. We work with homeowners who do not qualify for the Town of Truckee or Placer County’s Lease to Locals Programs. Since July 2020, we have matched over 30 local families with rooms and homes in the Truckee-Tahoe area.

Free tenant screening, vetting, and placement
Property management services OR a financial incentive to those who lease their home to a public agency employee*
*Incentives offered for the first year of the lease. Years 2 and beyond will be considered each year upon program renewal.
